Omoide bukai...

Any Japan fans out there? 8) I'm just back from Japan in late September, it's wonderful despite the hot weather in Tokyo. Oh I love Japan! I still dreamt of the various places we've visited, like the Landmark Tower in Yokohama, the beautiful sight of Tokyo Bay from Odaiba, the amazing Roppongi Hills which I loved so much (and I aspire to work there too), crazy shopping in Shibuya, and the neon lighting signboards that lit up Shinjuku's night sky! You see, I'm a city person, so I remember city places better.. haha ;)

Whereas Hokkaido is beautiful in its own way, cooler and less hustle bustle, with beautiful flowers, lots of farmlands, volcanoes, mountains. I loved the relaxed atmosphere there. Sunrise as early as 5.30am. The air is fresh, temperature is 15-22 degrees when we were there. We saw waterfalls, we took gondola and chair-lift up the mountains, soaked in hot springs, ate hokkaido crabs, kobe beef, pumpkin ice-creams. We visited fruits farm.. saw apple trees, cherry tomatoes, we went flower plantation, stayed at Toya Lake next to the volcano, slept in tatami rooms, wore yukatas (making sure to wear it correctly), sang karaoke, had steamboats almost every night, and walked in the cool night streets of Hokkaido after dinner, eating ice-creams...

And guess what, we also saw many good-looking Japanese guys! More so in Tokyo, haha... that's a plus besides having fun eating, sightseeing and shopping. Glad it was good despite we don't have much time to plan. Now I am thinking of learning Jap language again. Probably go back in 3 years time.. but the memories of Japan will stay in my mind... utsukushii ne..
